LIME Gives Back on Giving Tuesday
Every year, on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, people take time out of their busy schedule to kick off the holiday season by giving back to their community. Whether it’s donating money to a charitable cause or volunteering, Giving Tuesday is a special day to benefit the community.
This Giving Tuesday, LIME Fresh Mexican Grill donated food and services to three non-profit organizations across Florida:
• Patches – Located in Miami, Patches serves children with medical needs and their families.
The Patches team shared, “We are so grateful that LIME Fresh thought of the staff at Patches
on Giving Tuesday. Everything we do, we do for the children.”
• Give Kids The World Village – An 89-acre resort in Kissimmee that provides critically ill children and their families with week-long wish vacations at no cost.
“LIME’s food donation was so thoughtful,” said Micayla Rowe development manager at Give Kids The World Village.
“We can’t thank the team enough for all their support and wanting to do this for us.”
• Miami Rescue Mission | Broward Outreach Center – Helps men, women, and children with meals, safe shelter, life-changing residential programs, employment, and housing.
Four LIME staff members served fresh menu items to people experiencing homelessness at the Broward Outreach Center on Giving Tuesday.
